When I get away and head out into a natural setting with my camera with the idea of taking photos, the world changes from the day-to-day into a mysterious land where I travel wide-eyed, seeing everything from far left to far right all at once while still gazing straight ahead, taking it all in, until something just seems to stand out in terms of shape, color, contrasts and balance. And then I take the shot. It’s hard to describe but that’s really close to how it happens for me.
There are things of beauty all around us that often go unrecognized. Commonplace I suppose, but still quite exquisite, at least to me. Objects and shapes that nature provides…treats for us to experience and visualize.
