Our Illinois Neighbor

The first time I ever went to the Illinois Food Emporium, some clients took me out to breakfast one morning. We had exchanged emails for many weeks but it was the first time I had actually met them in person. It was a beautiful morning much like the day here in this photo. As an enthusiastic coffee drinker for many years, I was oblivious to an even larger world of tea consumption. Long before coffee, people developed the art of tea brewing and drinking. Lately I’ve been mounting a serious climb up that learning curve. One place I was introduced to recently has a special feel, the Teas Me Café  located a couple blocks east of Meridian on 22nd Street near
